It is the default modern alternative teams reach for when leaving Vimeo. The trade-off is cost: comparisons consistently put Mux at a premium (often several times Cloudflare Stream/Bunny for plain VOD), so it is worth it mainly once analytics, live, and reliability/SLAs matter.
