RP2K

RP2K is a free, public set of retail product photos. We start the model on it before training on a client’s own shelves. The head start is small but consistent, and it beats starting from generic photos. After that, the gains come from the store’s own labeled photos.

For engineers: a public retail product recognition dataset (about 2,000 SKUs) used for backbone pretraining.
