CleanVision scans a set of images for duplicates and quality problems like blur or strange sizes. We used its perceptual hashing to find near-duplicate crops, but on retail photos the hashes were unreliable.
For engineers: image dataset auditing; the perceptual-hash near-duplicate check missed our signal because it drops fine text and color.
